Introducing M’DONIA

A literary agent once told me that HOSANNA had three stories within it and that I’d need to remove two to get to the truth of Hosanna’s voice. So I did just that. This week, I resume the work on my second book, M’DONIA, which delves into John Irvin’s complex story. You see, we may feel there is a hedge of protection in a barrel of a gun or even a six-foot fence. But in M’donia I explore a true and enduring hedge we might want to consider.


Katelyne Parker

Katelyne Parker, the B.R.A.G. Medallion Honoree for Literary Fiction, Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Finalist, and 2017 Illumination Book Award Winner, was born in 1972 in Brooklyn, New York, but came of age in south Florida. After she graduated from Barry University, she worked as an educator for over fifteen years.
