Decatur Book Festival Interview in 2011

About five years ago, I was interviewed at the Decatur Book Festival discussing the early process of writing, rewriting, and potentially publishing Hosanna. There was so much I did not know then, but it was an important part of my journey. If you listen to it, I believe you’ll get some insight into my thoughts, motivations, and aspirations.

If I gave that interview today, I’d probably go about it differently. I’ve learned so much since then, but I’m still amazed at how long it’s been. I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m just so grateful for all the adversity and all the obstacles that came my way.
